About the Journal

The International Journal of Islamic Economics and Finance Research (IJIEFER) is a peer-reviewed (double-blind) and open-access journal, published biannually in July and December. It is owned by the International Research Centre of Islamic Economics and Finance (IRCIEF) and published by Penerbit UIS. Articles are published in both English and Malay.

IJIEFER was launched by the International Research Centre of Islamic Economics and Finance (IRCIEF) in 2018. Its first issue was published in July 2018, and indexed by MyCite in January 2023.

 

Aim and Scope:

IJIEFER emphasises both qualitative and quantitative research relevant to contemporary issues in Islamic economics and finance. Its primary audience includes academicians, policymakers, and practitioners, with a focus on promoting socio-economic development and societal well-being through the lens of Islamic economics and finance.
