About the Journal
The International Journal of Islamic Economics and Finance Research (IJIEFER) is a peer-reviewed (double-blind) and open-access journal, published biannually in July and December. It is managed by the International Research Centre of Islamic Economics and Finance (IRCIEF) and published by Penerbit UIS. The journal emphasises both qualitative and quantitative research relevant to contemporary issues in Islamic economics and finance. Its primary audience includes academicians, policymakers, and practitioners, with a focus on promoting socio-economic development and societal well-being through the lens of Islamic economics and finance. Articles are published in both English and Malay.
IJIEFER was launched by the International Research Centre of Islamic Economics and Finance (IRCIEF) in 2018. Its first issue was published in July 2018, and indexed by MyCite in January 2023.
